Rooftop Wedding at Lou/Na in Downtown Nashville
Set high above Broadway in downtown Nashville, this intimate wedding at Lou/Na Rooftop offered a beautiful mix of city views, warm evening light, and meaningful moments. From the emotion of the couple’s first look to relaxed portraits as the sun began to set, I photographed the day with a blend of candid storytelling and thoughtfully composed portraits.
After more than two decades of photographing weddings, I know when to offer direction and when to simply let a moment unfold. My goal is to create wedding photographs that feel beautiful now—and still feel like you years from now.

Wedding Portraits in Beautiful Evening Light
Some of my favorite wedding portraits happen when the timeline slows down and the light begins to change. I watch for those brief moments of beautiful natural light while giving couples enough direction to feel comfortable without making their photographs feel overly posed.
Whether we’re working with a colorful sunset, an elegant venue, or a quiet moment away from the celebration, I want your portraits to feel natural, flattering, and unmistakably yours.

Candid Wedding Photography with Genuine Emotion
Some of the most meaningful wedding photographs happen in the moments between the planned ones—a quiet look, spontaneous laughter, or the way a couple naturally reaches for one another. I stay attentive to those moments throughout the day while also providing direction when it’s needed.
As a Louisville wedding photographer, I bring more than two decades of wedding photography experience to each celebration. My approach combines candid storytelling with carefully created portraits, giving couples a gallery that captures both how their wedding looked and how it felt.

The Quiet Moments of Your Wedding Day
Not every meaningful wedding photograph needs to show the entire scene. Sometimes it’s the smallest details—the way you hold one another, a hand resting on a shoulder, or a quiet embrace—that bring back the strongest memories.
I look for these intimate moments throughout a wedding day and photograph them as naturally as possible. Along with the larger moments and traditional portraits, these close details help create a wedding gallery that feels personal, emotional, and complete.
